Set in a grand Georgian mansion surrounded by acres of lush green lawn, Beauberry House is a breath of fresh air for stressed-out Londoners. The elegant dining area – aptly named the White Room – is a zen haven filled with businessmen and chic media types. With oak flooring, white walls and stunning white chandelier, the chic interior is complimented by the excellent service and the friendly sommelier. The slow-cooked sea bass with samphire and a cockle vinagrette melts in your mouth, and the roasted saddle of lamb with courgette marmalade is superb. The elegant restaurant holds up to 85 people, and a further 45 can be seated on the two terraces with stunning views of Belair Park. There is a private dining room upstairs, which also has its own terrace and private bar and can hold up to 50 seated, or 80 standing. Beauberry House is popular for weddings and with the surrounding grounds can cater for up to 600 guests. The chic bar, with an open fire place, moody purple walls and plush red lounges is an ideal place for drinks come rain or shine. Facilities include a projection screen and a dance floor.
